My love for film and photography has been with me since I picked up my grandma’s RCA camcorder as a child. I was born in Kansas City, Missouri and moved to Illinois when I was two years old. At 15, I got my first GoPro and started making action sport videos with my friends. I was immediately hooked.
After high school, I moved to Salt Lake City, Utah to go to school at Westminster College and pursue a career in action sports videography. During my time there, I had interned for Bell helmets and Aero Film in Los Angeles. At Aero Film, I got to work alongside some of the best in the business and edit spots for US Navy and Ruby Tuesday’s.
After my third year of college, I was offered the position of Head of Consumer Video and Chief Editor for Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches in Champaign, Illinois. I packed up my things and moved back to my hometown to take the job. While being at Jimmy John’s for three years, I made commercials, social media videos, training videos and helped coordinate the production of their annual Conference in Las Vegas. I left Jimmy John’s in 2019 to create Toadstyle Productions.
I created Toadstyle Productions because I felt there was a need for a fresh look in the creative world. My work has always been different from my peers. I like to be raw and uncut. I don’t like to be put in a box or go with the trends. Free flowing creativity and having fun is what I am all about and what I want this business to be. Let’s make some art and have a blast doing it!
